IMD Weather Update: Heavy Rain To Lash Arunachal Pradesh On…., Dense Fog To Persist In West Bengal And Odisha

IMD observed a gradual rise in minimum temperatures by 2-3℃ over Northwest, central, and East India during the next 3 days and no significant change thereafter. Additionally, no significant change in minimum and maximum temperatures are likely over rest parts of the country during the next 5 days.

IMD Weather Update: A series of disruptions are expected to linger across India for the upcoming few days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts a Western Disturbances over Northwest India till the 11th of February 2025. Additionally, a cyclonic circulation brewing over northeast Bangladesh and neighbourhood is likely to impact different regions across India. Here’s a break down of the incoming weather conditions.

Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim: From 10th to 14th February

Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura: From 10th to 12th February

Dense Fog To Persist In West Bengal, Odisha

Visibility between 50 to 199 m was witnessed in isolated pockets of Sikkim, Meghalaya and South interior Odisha during the past 24 hours. According to IMD’s latest update and data, dense fog is expected to blanket Gangetic West Bengal & Sikkim on 10th and 11th February and south Odisha on 10th.

Forecast Of temperature

IMD observed a gradual rise in minimum temperatures by 2-3℃ over Northwest, central, and East India during the next 3 days and no significant change thereafter. Additionally, no significant change in minimum and maximum temperatures are likely over rest parts of the country during the next 5 days. South peninsular India would witness maximum temperatures to reach up to 2-3℃ during the next 4 to 5 days.

‘Poor’ AQI In Delhi/NCR

The overall AQI was recorded as 256 at 6 am today, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). Forecast by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) suggests ‘shallow fog’ will persist across the city till the 11th of February, followed by ‘mist’ till 14th.

Additionally, warm conditions are predicted until Tuesday with temperatures rising up to 28°C. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts clear weather in Delhi on 9th, 11th and 12th of February and a partly cloudy weather across the city on the 10th.
