According to the Indian Meteorological Department, temperatures have significantly shifted across various regions of India. As the mercury climbs across several regions, a mixed pattern of temperature changes is being observed across the country.
As per IMD bulletin:

No significant change in maximum temperatures is likely over Northwest India during the next 2 days; a gradual fall by 2-4°C during the subsequent 3 days, and a rise by 2-3°C during the subsequent 2 days.
The gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 2-3°C is likely over Central India during the next 5 days, and no significant change is expected during the subsequent 2 days.
No significant change in maximum temperatures is likely over East India during the next 3 days, and a gradual rise by 2-4°C is expected during the subsequent 4 days.
No significant change in maximum temperatures is likely over Maharashtra during the next 7 days.
No significant change in maximum temperatures is likely over Gujarat State during the next 24 hours; a gradual fall by 2-3°C is expected during the subsequent 3 days, and a gradual rise by 2-4°C during the subsequent 3 days.
No significant change in maximum temperatures is likely over the rest of the country.
Heat wave, warm night, and Hot & Humid weather warning:
Heat wave conditions at most places with severe heat wave conditions at isolated/some parts likely over West Rajasthan on 17th April and heat wave conditions at isolated/some parts thereafter on 18th April.
Heat wave conditions are very likely at isolated places over East Rajasthan on 17th & 18th; Saurashtra & Kutch on 17th April.
Hot and humid weather will likely prevail over Marathawada and Madhya Maharashtra from 17th to 21st April.
Warm Night conditions are likely at isolated places over Rajasthan on 17th April. Heatwave conditions is expected over Western Rajasthan.
