IMD Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places over interior Tamil Nadu on December 2. Isolated heavy rain is also expected over South Interior Karnataka, Kerala, and Maha on December 2, 3, and 4 and Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, and Yanam on December 1 and 2. According to IMD’s latest information and data, Lakshadweep may experience heavy rainfall on December 3 and 4.

IMD has predicted dense fog conditions in isolated pockets of Uttar Pradesh during the late night and early morning hours till December 2 (morning hours).
IMD Weather Update On Cyclone Fengal
Cyclone Fengal crossed North Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts near latitude 12.05°N and longitude 79.9°E, close to Puducherry, between 10:30 pm and 11:30 pm yesterday with a wind speed of 70-80 kmph gusting to 90 kmph. It lay centered at 11.30 pm over north coastal Tamil Nadu & Puducherry near latitude 12.0°N and longitude 79.8°E, close to Puducherry.
As per IMD’s latest update, the cyclonic storm will continue to move west-southwestwards slowly and weaken gradually into a deep depression during the next 3 hours.

Temperature Conditions And Forecast
IMD observed that there will be no large change in minimum temperatures across Gujarat over the next three days and a gradual rise thereafter by 2-4°C during the subsequent 2 days. Additionally, a gradual rise in minimum temperatures by 3-5°C is very likely over Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada during the next 3 to 4 days. Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh to experience a gradual rise in minimum temperatures by 2-4°C during the next 5 days.
IMD Weather Forecast For Delhi
Delhi experienced a slight rise in minimum temperature and a slight fall in maximum temperature over
Delhi/NCR during the past 24 hours. Additionally, there will be a clear sky in the National Capital Region from Dec 1 to 3 .
AQI: The overall AQI in Delhi was recorded at 251 under the ‘Poor’ Category as of 6 am today. Different parts of Delhi such as R.K. Puram recorded an AQI of 315, while Punjabi Bagh reported a lower AQI of 232.
