Over the next few days, many places will witness fluctuating weather conditions characterized by occasional rain and rising temperatures. Southern regions are particularly set to experience rainfall from April 1 to 6. Residents are therefore advised to be prepared for the seasonal change and stay alert and updated.
Light Rain To Disrupt Outdoor Plans
As per the official press release, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted light rain to disrupt outdoor plans in Gujarat and Telangana today, April 2, 2025. Additionally, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (speed 30 to 60 kmph) may lead to potential inconvenience in these states. The other affected regions set to witness similar conditions are:

Hailstorms Expected Across Multiple States
From the 2nd of April, multiple states will be experiencing hailstorm conditions. Residents in Madhya Maharashtra, Marathawada, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, South Interior Karnataka, Telangana, North Interior Karnataka, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Coastal Karnataka must brace up for unpredictable weather changes influenced by hailstorms this week.
Heavy Rain Warning Across South India
A warning has been issued for heavy rainfall likely at isolated places across South India. Wet conditions may pose serious challenges and disrupt traffic movement in Kerala and Mahe, South Interior Karnataka, from April 2 to 6; Tamil Nadu Puducherry & Karaikal during April 3 to 5; Coastal Karnataka from April 3 to 6; North Interior Karnataka on 3rd and 06th; Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam on 4th April.
