IMD Weather Update: Winter chill has returned to North India as the southwest monsoon continues to retreat from several regions. While overnight fresh snowfall has brought down the temperatures in Kashmir, some states continue to receive heavy rainfall. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted an enhanced rainfall activity over South Peninsular India during the next 4 to 5 days.
Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka brace for heavy rain

As cooler winds have started blowing, cooling systems have been shut down across Delhi NCR. The day temperatures are witnessing a significant drop in temperatures up to 30–31°C, and evenings are becoming chillier at 18–19°C in areas like Noida, Ghaziabad, and Gurgaon.
