IMD Weather Highlights: In view of heavy rains in many parts of the country, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued a red alert in many districts of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, North Punjab, North Haryana, East Rajasthan, South-West Uttar Pradesh, North-West and East Madhya Pradesh and Odisha. According to the latest forecast, moderate to heavy rainfall is expected in these areas during the next three hours, which may cause problems like flash floods, landslides and waterlogging.

Jammu and Kashmir: Poonch, Mirpur, Rajouri, Reasi, Jammu, Ramban, Udhampur, Samba, Kathua, Doda, Kishtwar

Himachal Pradesh: Mandi, Una, Bilaspur, Sirmaur, Solan

Active monsoon conditions are likely to prevail over Delhi during next 3 days. The IMD has predicted generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of very light to light rain/thundershowers at many places with possibility of moderate rain at isolated places during evening on Friday.
