New Delhi: In a sharp reply to Ajit Pawar’s remark related to his age, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Chief Sharad Pawar on Saturday said that he is neither tired nor retired.
Replying over his nephew’s and now Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister’s statement, the veteran leader in a press conference said, “I am not tired, I am not retired, I’m on fire.”
Ajit Pawar last week said that his uncle should step down and give a chance to the new generation stating that even leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) retire at the age of 75.
“You give us your blessing ..you are 83, and not going to stop..Give us your blessings and we will pray that you live a long life,” said Ajit Pawar.
Sharad Pawar replied to Ajit’s this remark. He also said that all the rebels who defected to join Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government would be disqualified.
