AIMIM chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi has targeted not only the central government and the BJP but also the opposition in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

New Delhi: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owiasi on Monday expressed concerned over his security, a day after his house was allegedly vandalised by a group of miscreants in the national capital.

The AIMIM chief was talking about the Bhiwani incident where two men were allegedly taken to Haryana and burnt alive in a car. He said, If Junaid and Naseer could be burnt alive then who am I?”

“I do not know who was involved in this. I was in Bharatpur, Rajasthan to meet families of Junaid & Naseer. A written complaint was given regarding this incident but in India, if Junaid and Naseer could be burnt alive then who is Asaduddin Owaisi,” he said.

The police on Monday launched an investigation on a complaint of attack at the residence of Owaisi in the national capital.

“Those who are doing this have a lot of confidence as they know their party is in power. This is the 4rth time my house was attacked… they can be the people believing in Nathuram Godse’s ideology,” he added.

“Legal action is being taken in the matter. Owasi wasn’t present at his residence when the alleged incident happened,” police said, adding that a brick was found in the parking area at the rear entrance of his house.

“Attackers follow Ideology of Nathuram Godse”

Owaisi insisted that those who attacked his house could be the one who promotes the ideology of Nathuram Godse, the man who killed Mahatama Gandhi.

“Death Of The Unborn Child”

The AIMIM chief has condemned the death of an unborn child of prime accused in the incident Srikant.

“I condemn the death of the unborn child of the accused’s wife who died yesterday. This should not have happened. Given a chance, I will meet the victims’ (Junaid & Naseer) families,” said Owaisi.

The family of Srikant alleged that the police barged in to the latter’s house and assaulted his pregnant wife due to which, the woman lost her child in womb.

“Some people came and they started fighting with my in-laws. They came to my door and pushed it, during which I got hurt in my stomach and my child died,” said Srikant’s wife.

The Bhiwani case pertains to as many as two dead bodies, which were found charred in a Mahindra Bolero SUV in Haryana’s Bhiwani district.

A Shift Towards BJP's Aggressive Hindutva Amid Opposition's Leadership Crisis

The Maharashtra election may further push the Congress down as it has lost the election at a time when it needed a win most desperately. Though the Congress succeeded in pushing the BJP to a corner and stopping it at less than a majority on its own, it failed to make any headway further.
