IAS Tina Dabi and Pradeep Gawande became parents for the first time on Friday, September 15. The top-ranked applicant for Indian Administrative Services in 2015 gave birth to her first child in a Jaipur hospital. Many individuals sent the pair their best wishes on social media. IAS Ria Dabi, her sister, posted photos of Dabi’s baby shower on Instagram last week. She wrote “Love, light, and laughter” as the caption.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Tina Dabi reportedly met Pradeep Gawande, an IAS officer from the 2013 batch. Dr. Gawande made her a marriage proposal. The couple got married on April 22 last year in a private ceremony in Rajasthan, with her family and close friends in attendance. She waved farewell to the Jaisalmer region a few weeks ago by posting a collection of pictures and a sentimental note before departing for her pregnancy leave. Tina Dabi previously held the position of joint secretary in the Rajasthan finance department before being appointed district collector of Jaisalmer. “I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to serve this wonderful district for one year as its District Collector and Magistrate. Sharing glimpses of some cherished moments spent in the district,” she wrote while sharing the pictures.
After cracking the famous civil services exam, Tina Dabi, a graduate of Delhi’s Lady Shri Ram College, gained notoriety in 2015. Her brief union with Athar Aamir Khan also garnered widespread media attention. In the 2015 UPSC exams, Khan received a second-place finish. The couple met after their exam during their training term, fell in love, and were married in 2018. The interfaith wedding, which numerous prominent politicians attended, sparked a lot of conversation on social media. A Jaipur family court granted Dabi and Khan’s request for a divorce in August 2021.
