There are 135 Congress MLAs. I don’t have any MLAs. I’ve left the decision to the party high command, Shivkumar added.

A few hours earlier, Karnataka Congress chief DK Shivakumar on Monday said that it is his birthday today, and he will meet his family members and then leave for Delhi.

Shivkumar said, “We’ve 135 MLAs, all in one voice said-matter (to appoint CM) is to be left to the party high command. My aim was to deliver Karnataka and I did it”.

Meanwhile, senior Congress leader and former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday arrived in Delhi to meet the top leadership of the party.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and top party delegation engage in the process of picking the next CM of Karnataka.
