Manish Sisodia Arrest

New Delhi: A lookout circular has been issued against Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia by the CBI. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader has been banned from leaving the country. Manish Sisodia was furious after the lookout circular was issued.

He has expressed his displeasure over the lookout notice through a statement on social media in which he directly Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“All your raids have failed, nothing was found. Now you have issued a lookout circular that Sisodia cannot be found. What is this gimmick, Modi ji? I am roaming freely in Delhi, tell me where to come? You can’t find me?” the AAP leader posted on Twitter.

Earlier, while tweeting a video of PM Modi, Manish Sisodia wrote, “definitely listen to this statement of Modi ji about CBI raids. If you do not listen then you will be deprived of knowing a very big truth.”

The Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh also slammed the central government on the issue.

“Look out notices are not being issued for robbers who have looted lakhs of crores, killers and terrorists. But a look out notice has been issued to the world’s best education minister, the hero of education revolution, Manish Sisodia. Why this gimmick Modi ji? Manish Sisodia is at home, go, come meet him.”

In the alleged excise scam case, a lookout circular has been done against a total of 13 people including Manish Sisodia. They have been barred from leaving the country. Earlier on August 20, CBI had raided Manish Sisodia’s house. This raid had lasted for 14 hours.
