In Hyderabad, government teacher J. Srinivas (53) was transferred. Even before Teacher’s Day, the children gave their teacher a very big gift.

In the government school of Ponakal village near Hyderabad, 53-year-old teacher Srinivas used to teach. On July 1st, Srinivas was transferred. The children made a lot of effort to stop him, but they had to abide by the government order. When the teacher started to leave the school, the children closed the school gate, cried, and despite many efforts, the teacher had to leave the school premises. After this incident, no one could imagine what was going on in the minds of the children.

After going home, the students informed their parents about Srinivas’s transfer and made a plan: now we will not study in this school anymore. We will study in the school where the teacher has been transferred. Then, what happened? Within two days, more than 250 children from classes one to five, out of which 133 students had been admitted to the new school, which was three kilometers away from their old school.

Following this incident, Teacher Srinivas expressed that it demonstrates how much trust my parents have in me. I fulfilled my duty of teaching their children to the best of my abilities. They liked my teaching. Since government schools now have better facilities, I encourage parents to take advantage of this.

Everyone is praising Teacher Srinivas. Local people have remembered Srinivas’s contributions over the past 12 years, especially how he increased the school’s number from 32 to 250 through his efforts and inspiration.
