Hyderabad: In a heartbreaking incident in Telangana’s Quthbullapur, near Hyderabad, a pedestrian lost his life after being hit by a speeding car on Sunday morning. The vehicle, reportedly driven by a 20-year-old student, struck the man with such force that he was thrown into the air before tragically falling to his death.

Accident Caught on CCTV
The accident took place at Gajula Ramaram under the jurisdiction of Jeedimetla police station and was captured on CCTV. The footage, now circulating online, shows a man walking on the road during the early hours. Suddenly, a fast-moving SUV approaches from the right, narrowly missing a two-wheeler.

Pedestrian Thrown Into Air After Impact
The SUV then crashes into the pedestrian, throwing him several feet into the air before he lands heavily on the ground. The out-of-control vehicle continues its path, smashing into a wall before finally coming to a stop sideways. A passenger is seen jumping out of the SUV and crossing the compound to return to the vehicle from the other side.
As locals rush to the scene, the driver is seen trying to restart the vehicle, allegedly in an attempt to flee. A crowd quickly gathers around the SUV, while tragically, the pedestrian lies unconscious in the compound, unnoticed.
Victim and Investigation Details
The driver, identified as Manish Goud, a 20-year-old degree student, was traveling with five friends at the time of the incident. Although he sustained minor injuries, he is currently under investigation by the Jeedimetla police. The victim, Gopi, who worked as a security guard, died on the spot due to the impact.
