If you haven’t applied for the PM Internship Scheme yet, now’s your chance! Visit pminternship.mca.gov.in to register and submit your application before the deadline. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the scheme during the Union Budget 2024-25 presentation in Parliament.
PM Internship Scheme: Eligibility
- Applicants applying for the scheme must be between 21 and 24 years of age. Their nationality must be Indian.
- The applicant should not be doing any full-time employment or full-time education.
- Applicants who are class 10 pass and above can apply for this internship program.
Over the next five years, the scheme will offer 12-month paid internships to over 1 crore youth, placing them in India’s top 500 companies. The government and the companies will offer Rs 5,000 every month to the interns under this scheme for 12 months.
How To Apply?
- The Scheme will run through an online portal, https://pminternship.mca.gov.in/login/.
- Eligible candidates can register on the portal.
- On the homepage, candidates needs to upload their profile.
- The portal will then create a resume for each candidate.
- Applicants will have the option to choose the preferred fields and location for their internship.
- Candidates can apply for up to five internships based on their preferences.
- Once a candidate apply, submit details and download the confirmation page.
- Applicants will be notified regarding internship opportunities on their registered email or mobile number.
Major Benefits
- Interns will be given Rs 5,000 per month for 12 months under this scheme.
- Interns will also be given a one-time grant for incidentals of Rs 6,000.
- Training costs of the interns would be paid by the companies from their CSR funds.
- Interns will be provided with the Insurance coverage under insurance schemes of the Government of India.
