There are several projects that the country is going to get this year. One such project is the country’s shortest expressway. As reported by ZEE News, this has surpassed Paris’s Eiffel Tower and Dubai’s Burj Khalifa. This route is going to be the lifeline of people living in Delhi and Gurgaon.
This route will connect Delhi’s Dwarka with Gurugram. This is the country’s first elevated expressway giving a travel experience above the flyover to the commuters.
This route has an 8-lane and stands on a single pillar. This shows the engineering skills of the nation. The 23 km route of this expressway is elevated and 4 Kilometers is the underground route. The total length of the expressway is 29 Kilometers. This is the shortest expressway in the country connecting Delhi and Gurugram. 18.1 Kilometers of the route is in Gurugram and the rest is in Delhi.
This route has the widest toll booth in it. The toll tax rate for Jeeps, cars and vans is Rs 105 for one-way and Rs 155 for both ways. The toll rate for buses and trucks is Rs 535 for two-way and Rs 355 for one-way.
This will benefit the people going for their jobs from Delhi to Gurugram. It will make people go on flyovers and the tunnels. It will give people a smooth travel experience. It will solve traffic-related problems to a great extent. The expressway is going to be a game changer due to its location.
