The video of SpiceJet Holi widely circulated on social media platforms, which shows that airline crew members were dancing on a song, “balam pichkari” inside a flight. The video garnered more than 371k views after a passenger recorded it and uploaded it on his social media platform (Instagram). However, social media surely did not like the way “ApoceJet” celebrated the holi inside a flight.

People commented that, “Many years ago, I travelled on SpiceJet, and that day I decided it would be my last time with 1,013 them. I am so glad I took that decision, and I still do not travel with this airline.” while another said “Not cool at all.” Social media reacted: Why are they (SpiceJet) making their employees to dance like that ?

However, SpiceJet informed on his official Instagram account that they have started celebrating Holi on flights since 2014. The trend continues in 2025 also. “A signature festival, a signature song, and a celebration like no other! Our crew brought Holi to life with an energetic dance, proving that Dasiz traditions take flight with us!” said the airline in the caption.
