Holi 2025: Good news for residents of Delhi and Mumbai! Indian Railways will run special trains to Kerala and Bihar on select dates. Here are the special trains details residing in those states to travel to their home town for Holi.
Delhi’s Anand Vihar To Bihar
Special trains from Anand Vihar To Bihar will start from March 5. Chief Public Relations Officer of Indian Railways Pankaj Kumar Singh announced that, for the convenience of passengers during Holi, the Railway Administration will operate train number 05113/05114 Chhapra-Anand Vehar Terminal-Chhapra Weekly Festival Special. Special trains will run From March 6 to March 27.

Special Trains From Mumbai To Kerala
To cater to increased travel demand, Indian Railways will run weekly special trains between Mumbai’s Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) and Thiruvananthapuram North. These trains, scheduled on select days in March, aim to provide more convenient travel options for passengers.
The trains will stop at several key stations, including Thane, Panvel, Ratnagiri, Madgaon, Karwar, Mangaluru Junction, Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur Junction, Thrissur, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, and Kollam Junction. This extended route is designed to improve connectivity across multiple regions during the festive season.
Each train will feature 22 LHB coaches, including one AC 2-Tier coach, six AC 3-Tier coaches, nine sleeper coaches, four general second-class coaches, one generator car, and one luggage-cum-brake van.
