5.2 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Kashmir Valley; Tremors Felt Across Region

A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck the Kashmir Valley on Wednesday morning, causing widespread panic as tremors were felt across the region.

A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck Kashmir Valley on March 27, 2025, at 1:58 PM. The tremors were sent across the Kashmir Valley and surrounding areas. According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 180 km, making it a deep-focus quake. The epicenter is considered to be Hindu Kush region, Afghanistan.

Although the tremors were strong enough to be felt in parts of Jammu and Kashmir, there have been no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
