New Delhi: Himachal Pradesh cabinet on Thursday gave it the approval to fill 530 posts of lecturers. The post of Lecturer for various subjects will be completed through direct recruitment. the cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu on Thursday.

As per information, In a cabinet meeting, the government gave approval to the proposal of lecturer recruitment under Rule-4 and Rule 15-A of Recruitment and Promotion Rules for recruitment on a fixed pay.

The cabinet also agreed to amend the Himachal Pradesh Town and Country Planning Rules, 2014 to make the attic floor livable for the convenience of the general public.

The meeting also accorded approval to fill two posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police on regular basis on direct recruitment basis through the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services Combined Competitive Examination (HPAS). In the meeting, the cabinet decided to amend Rule 50 of the Himachal Pradesh Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Rules, 1989. Due to this now the annual license fee will be Rs 1.50 lakh.
