Hathras Tragedy Unveils Hospital Chaos: Lack Of Stretcher, Ambulance, And Doctors

Several injured individuals who reached the hospital couldn't get treatment and were sent to Hathras, Agra, or Aligarh. Families are urgently looking for their loved ones in various hospitals.

The entire nation is grieving after a tragic accident at a religious gathering in Hathras, UP. 121 people lost their lives, and 35 others were injured. Following the accident, the Aligarh district hospital was overwhelmed with dead bodies. The situation was chaotic, with a shortage of even basic covers for the deceased.

Many of the injured who arrived at the hospital were unable to receive treatment and had to be referred to Hathras, Agra, or Aligarh. Families are frantically searching hospitals for their loved ones. Additionally, disturbing reports emerged from Sikandrau Trauma Center, where the injured did not receive adequate medical attention, resulting in numerous fatalities.

Relatives of the injured in the accident expressed concern that without stretchers or doctors in the hospital, the injured might not survive beyond two hours. They were also upset about the absence of ambulances at the accident site, mentioning that they had to bring people to the hospital themselves.

They criticized the lack of arrangements upon arrival. During this period, people showed frustration towards the government and administration, with grief evident in their eyes over the loss of their loved ones.
