A nine-year-old student, identified as Kritarth, was killed in a residential school in the Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh. The boy was killed on September 23 in the alleged human sacrifice made by the owners of the school to boost the prosperity of the institute. The incident has sent shockwaves across states triggering safety concerns for school children in society. However, the parents of the deceased have refuted the reports of the sacrifice in his interaction with the media.

No ‘sacrifice’ angle?
“My son had been studying in the school for the last four years and I know the school management since then. There has been no scope of black magic or human sacrifice stirred by occult science as per my information about the owners. This is a big conspiracy”, said the father collecting all the strength he had after losing his son.
He narrated his experience of being fooled around in Hathras by the five accused who are now in police custody. “While I was going to work, I got a phone call from the school and was told my son wasn’t well. They had Kritarth in their car and I was on the way very close to them but instead of stopping, they kept fooling me all the way and riding the vehicle. When I stopped them in the way as we crossed paths, I saw the body of my son, the bone of his neck was broken, it didn’t hint at sacrifice. The real reason is something else”, said the father.

He also stated that the accused were in an inebriated state in the car and they also had his child’s school bag. He further requested the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh to conduct an SIT investigation into the case so that no other child loses his life and the safety of the children is ensured. The emotional father urged for a capital punishment for all the perpetrators.

The sobbing mother could barely speak to the media, all she said was, “Bulldozer chalna chahiye school par.” (The school should be razed down by a bulldozer). She too urged for capital punishment for the killers of her child.
