Haryana: Violent clashes erupted between the two communities in Haryana’s Nuh district during a Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) rally leaving several people injured on Monday.
However, Internet services have been halted in the area along with imposing section 144 following the protest erupted in the Haryana’s Nuh district.

As per News18 report, tensions escalated significantly during the VHP rally due to the alleged presence of Monu Manesar, a well-known cow vigilante and member of Bajrang Dal, who is wanted in connection with the murder of two men in Rajasthan. His appearance at the rally sparked anger and frustration among members of a particular community.

The atmosphere on the Gurugram-Alwar National Highway near Nuh city has become tense as incidents of stone pelting occurred during the ‘Shobha Yatra’ event, according to reports.
However, the situation near Nuh city has turned highly volatile, with several vehicles, both government and private, being set ablaze and the police facing stone-pelting. In response to the escalating tension, the police resorted to firing to control the situation.
To address the escalating situation, a significant deployment of over 1,000 police personnel has been made in the city. Authorities are using loudspeakers to urge residents to stay indoors for their safety.

In addition to the existing police force, reinforcements have been urgently called in from neighboring districts such as Palwal, Faridabad, and Rewari.
In an effort to restore calm, the police conducted a flag march to show a strong presence and deter any further disturbances.
Meanwhile, shops around Tiranga Park and across Nuh City were forced to close their doors, including prominent markets like Naya Bazar, Gali Bazar, and Hodal Bypass. The intensity of the situation led to the streets being covered in black smoke.
The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) had previously announced the commencement of the Brajmandal (Mewat) Jalabhishek Yatra, organized by the VHP’s Yuva Shakti Bajrang Dal.
The yatra began at 10:00 am from Nalhad Mahadev Temple and was scheduled to conclude at Shringar Temple in Punhana.
