Haryana: Gurugram Police on Tuesday carried out an encounter in the Wazirpur area in which five shooters were gunned down. All five had reportedly come with the intention of killing singer Fazilpuria. Rahul Yadav, alias Singer Fazilpuria, was earlier attacked on 14 July 2025 on Gurugram’s Southern Peripheral Road (SPR), in which he narrowly escaped.
According to reports, the plot to kill Rahul Fazilpuria was conspired by gangsters Deepak Nandal and Rohit Sirdhania. In a joint operation by STF and the crime branch, the five shooters who were driving an Innova car without a number plate were apprehended after an encounter in the Wazirpur area. Police laid a trap to catch them as soon as they received the information.
The armed shooter initially opened fire at the police after an attempt was made to stop their vehicle. In retaliation, the police shot the four miscreants in the legs, while the fifth was chased down and taken to the police station.
The arrested shooters were identified as Vinod Pehalwan (Jhajjar), Padam alias Raja (Sonipat), Shubham alias Kala, Gautam alias Gogi, and Ashish alias Ashu. The four injured miscreants have been admitted to a hospital in Gurugram. Their condition is said to be stable, reports added. Meanwhile, the Police have seized weapons from their possession.
