Haryana Assembly Elections 2024: Bajrang Punia Dares BJP’s Nayab Singh To Contest Against Vinesh Phogat In Julana

Congress leader and wrestler Bajrang Punia challenged BJP's Nayab Singh Saini, questioning why he is looking for a safe seat if defeating Vinesh Phogat is so easy. Punia invited Saini to contest against Phogat from Julana, adding that as the state's CM, Saini has the power to contest anywhere. Punia also criticized the BJP for opposing the Congress-AAP alliance, pointing out that despite holding 240 seats, the BJP has alliances at the center. He emphasized the strength of the INDIA Alliance, urging the BJP to sit in opposition if they oppose alliances.

Haryana Assembly Speaker and BJP leader Gyan Chand Gupta said the Congress has already accepted its defeat in the upcoming elections. He claimed that Congress is struggling to find candidates, which is why they are considering alliances with parties like AAP or Samajwadi Party. Gupta also criticized Congress for giving tickets to people involved in suspicious activities, questioning what message they want to send. He expressed confidence that BJP will win and form the government in Haryana for the third time.
