Hapur: Man Killed By Brother, Sister-in-Law Over Garbage Dispute

The victim’s wife lodged a complaint with the police. The police have formed teams to trace the couple, who are currently on the run.

In a shocking incident, a man was killed by his younger brother and sister-in-law with an axe in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur district. A verbal spat over throwing garbage turned ugly and led to the incident.

According to a report published by NDTV, the accused, Sunil, threw garbage in front of victim Virender’s home, to which he objected. Later, the two got involved in a heated argument.

Soon after, Sunil and his wife attacked Virender on the head with an axe. He started bleeding profusely. He was taken to a hospital and later referred to another hospital in Meerut, but succumbed to his injuries.

The victim’s wife lodged a complaint with the police. The police have formed teams to trace the couple, who are currently on the run.

Telangana: Engineering student assaulted at Dandiya event after revealing his name

In a separate incident, a group of people assaulted an engineering student from another community after he entered a Dandiya event with his friends at a hotel in Hyderabad, police said on Wednesday.

According to the Telangana Police, Nehan Ali Khan was attacked after revealing his name. In his statement, Khan stated that, in the evening, he and his friend Karthikeya, along with some others, booked tickets to attend a Dandiya event.

However, around 10:15 PM, some unknown individuals approached him, asked for his name, and when he responded, he was assaulted.

Police said that Khan later identified some of the attackers as Laxman, Deepak, Bharath, and Chandra Kanth. As a result, he requested appropriate action against the culprits who unlawfully entered the Dandiya Hall and assaulted him.
