Madhya Pradesh: In a shocking incident that recently came to light in Gwalior, a Jhansi-based business allegedly raped and threatened a woman with with obscene photos and videos of her. According to News24 reporter Kamal Verma, on the night of 18th March, the accused, identified as Deepak Soni, stayed at the woman’s house on the pretext of not getting a hotel.
Threatens To Make Obscene Photos Go Viral
Soni raped her on the same night after requesting to stay at her house. He even made obscene photos and videos of the girl at the time of committing the crime and threatened to post them on social media. Reports revealed that the victim, who previously worked as a director, had known the Jhansi-based man since 2017. Following the incident, she filed a rape complaint against him at Girwai police station in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
MP: Woman Abducted And Raped In Dewas
In yet another shocking incident that emerged from Madhya Pradesh, a young woman residing in Dewas district was abducted and raped by a man on the night of April 27. The victim received injuries on her face during the incident. After receiving primary treatment at the district hospital, the woman has been referred to Indore for further care. Meanwhile, the police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
CSP Dishesh Agrawal said that a case has been registered against the accused under charges of rape and other relevant sections, based on a complaint filed by the victim’s mother. MLA Rajesh Sonkar visited the survivor at the hospital. Meanwhile, her treatment is ongoing at MYH Hospital.
