Gurugram: Four Killed In Multiple Blasts At Fireball Factory In Daulatabad

Gurugram: Several explosions occurred at a fireball manufacturing factory on Friday in the Daulatabad Industrial Area of Gurugram, resulting in four deaths and approximately 3-4 injuries. The injured individuals were promptly taken to the hospital for treatment.

Late at night on Friday, explosions occurred, prompting the Fire Service to respond swiftly. Approximately 24 fire tenders were dispatched to the scene to extinguish the fire, which was successfully put out later on.

Providing details about the incident, Fire Officer Ramesh Kumar stated that they received reports of blasts at night. Upon arrival at the scene, explosions were ongoing at the factory. He further mentioned that approximately two dozen fire tenders were quickly dispatched to the location.

Ramesh further explained that the explosions caused significant damage to nearby buildings. He mentioned that fire tenders were brought in from nearby fire stations while the blasts were still ongoing. A total of around 24 fire tenders were involved in the operation. The factory manufactures fireballs similar to fire extinguishers. Ramesh also noted that nearby buildings suffered damage and confirmed reports of 2 deaths, with 3-4 injured individuals already transported to the hospital before their arrival at the scene.

The incident occurred just a week after a fire broke out at a blanket factory in Panipat, Haryana. A large cloud of smoke was seen billowing from the factory, prompting fire tenders to quickly respond and eventually extinguish the fire.
