Gurugram: Medical Attendant Jumps To Death From 13th Floor Of Housing Society

The deceased has been identified as Ravi. The Gurugram police said Ravi was hired through an agency to look after an elderly person.

In a shocking incident, a medical attendant jumped to death from the 13th floor of a housing society in Haryana’s Gurugram on May 2.

Medical Attendant was hired to look after an elderly person

According to PTI, the deceased has been identified as Ravi. The Gurugram police said Ravi was hired through an agency to look after an elderly person.

Ravi was a native of Bareilly

The report said Ravi Gulati hired the medical attendant to take care of his 83-year-old father-in-law. Ravi Gulati lived on Sohna Road’s Park View Society. The medical attendant was a native of Bareilly. 

The police said Ravi’s body has been sent for postmortem, and it would be handed over to his family members once they arrive.

On May 2, Bhubaneswar Police Commissioner Suresh Dev Datta Singh stated that following preliminary findings in the case related to the death of the Nepali girl at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), “Prima facie, it appears to be a suicide case,” as she was found hanging in her hostel room on Thursday evening.

Girl’s body was transferred to AIIMS Bhubaneswar for post-mortem

Speaking to ANI on the matter, Singh said the girl’s body was transferred to AIIMS Bhubaneswar for post-mortem, and a probe on the matter was currently underway.

Girl was found in a hanging position inside a locked room

“Prima facie, it appears to be a suicide case, as she was found in a hanging position inside a locked room. All evidence has been collected. The body has been sent to AIIMS for post-mortem. An investigation is underway. I have spoken to the Nepali embassy. Police arrangements have been made outside KIIT University, where the situation is normal,” Bhubaneswar CP said.
