Gurugram: Man In Live-In Relationship Stabbed To Death By Partner After Fight Over Visiting Family; Took Rs 7 Lakh Hours Before Incident

A man was allegedly stabbed to death by his live-in partner in Gurugram following a heated argument about visiting his family.

A woman in Gurugram stabbed her live-in partner as the ongoing dispute between them, which was mainly about visiting his wife and children, kept escalating. Harish (42), a resident of Balyawas in Gurugram, and Yashmeet Kaur (27), a resident of Ashok Vihar in Delhi, were living together in DLF Phase-3 for the past year. 

Yashmeet Kaur would often quarrel with Harish as Harish was married and had children, and whenever he would visit his wife and family, there would be arguments. On Saturday, the quarrel escalated once again, and the woman stabbed him. He was rushed to a hospital where he died.

A few hours before the quarrel, Harish's nephew Bharat said that Harish had returned from work in Faridabad, took Rs 7 lakh from Bharat, and left in a car, which also had another accused, Vijay. According to the police, Harish called Bharat around 10 pm and asked him to order food and pay.

The next day, around 7 am, Kaur called Bharat and informed him about Harish's death. Bharat said that Harish had a knife wound on his chest. Kaur has been arrested, and the knife has been seized. The police are questioning Vijay and investigating why Harish took Rs 7 lakh on the night of the incident.
