In a shocking incident in Gurugram’s Ravi Nagar, a 19-year-old auto-rickshaw driver, Vipin, was brutally assaulted with sticks and stones over a mere Rs 10 fare dispute, leaving him critically injured and hospitalised. The attack, occurred near a petrol pump on August 10, 2025. It sparked outrage, with two suspects arrested. The police are searching for the other accused in the case.
According to police, the dispute took place on August 10 when Vipin and some passengers were arguing over the fare. Vipin informed his family about the incident who rushed there and found more than six people beating him badly. When the family intervened, they were also attacked and the attackers fled after threatening them, NDTV reported.
Vipin was immediately rushed to a hospital where he is undergoing treatment. Police registered a case at Sector 9A police station on the complaint of the victim’s family. Two accused, Ram Vishal Dubey from Prayagraj and Laxman from Krishna Colony in Gurugram, were arrested on Tuesday in the case.
Delhi’s Karawal Nagar
In a tragic incident in Delhi’s Karawal Nagar, a 28-year-old woman and her two young daughters, aged approximately seven and five, were found dead at their residence. Delhi Police reported that the Karawal Nagar police station received information about the incident around 7:15 AM. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered the bodies in a room. Crime investigation and forensic teams promptly arrived to collect evidence, while authorities are actively gathering information related to the case. A case has been registered under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Karawal Nagar police station.
