Unknown assailants fired shots at Bains, who fortunately emerged unharmed. Bains has reported the incident to the police, who are investigating the matter. In an interview, Bunty Bains shared his terrifying ordeal. He disclosed that after the attack, he received a menacing phone call demanding a ransom of Rs 1 crore. This adds another layer of complexity to the incident, suggesting possible motives beyond a mere assassination attempt.

He was warned that failing to comply with the demand would lead to his death.
