Extortion Threats in Nangloi Following Gunfire at Local Business
In a separate incident, a businessman in Delhi’s Nangloi faced an extortion threat from the feared Gogi Gang. On November 4, around 1:30 PM, three assailants arrived on a white scooter outside Amrit Garg’s plywood shop, Shri Lakshmi Plywood, in Mundka’s Amar Colony. The men fired multiple rounds outside his store and left a note demanding Rs 5 crore in protection money. The note specifically mentioned known gang members, including Fahje Bhai, Yogesh Dahiya, and Monty Maan.

Shocking Threatening Call from Gang Member Monty Maan
Shortly after the incident, Garg received a threatening call from an international number. The caller, identifying himself as Monty Maan, reiterated the demand for Rs 5 crore, naming associates Yogesh and Ankesh as additional intimidators. The call intensified the fear surrounding the attack, adding to the trauma for the business owner.
Police Investigation Underway
The police recovered eight empty 7.65 mm cartridges from the crime scene and are actively investigating the Gogi Gang’s involvement in the incident. Efforts to trace the suspects and prevent further gang-related violence are underway, as authorities look to bring those responsible to justice.
