In a shocking incident that has come to light, a woman in Gujarat’s Kheda faced apprehension for conducting a heinous crime. She allegedly murdered her 75-year-old father-in-law as he rejected her demand for ₹2 lakh to go overseas. As a response, she chopped off his genitals in cold blood in addition to hitting him on his skull.
During the inquest, she pleaded guilty to the crime. Moreover, she disclosed that she had physical relations with the deceased, identified as Jagdish Sharma, who often gave her money in exchange for their illegitimate relationship. While uncovering the details, she told the officials that she made friends with a man and Facebook and wanted to go abroad. Thus, he asked her father-in-law for money but he refused to pay and consequently, she took the drastic step, said the police.
Suspicions arose when the deceased was reported missing for nearly three days. Subsequently, the elder son looked into the houses of their relatives in Rajasthan, but there was no sign of him. Later, the lifeless body was found in one of the rooms of the house in the deceased’s closet.

As cited in IndiaToday’s report, the Deputy Superintendent of Police of Nadiad Division VR Bajpai revealed that the dead body of Jagdish Sharma, who hailed from Bhagat Ji’s Colony Kar area inside the city of Dakor, was retrieved on September 5. The lifeless body of the father-in-law was discovered in a decomposed state. It was then sent for a forensic post-mortem, which revealed that the cause of his death was an injury to his head from a hard object. Additionally, there were wound marks on other parts of his body. He further stated that a detailed probe is underway.
