Gandhi Nagar: An earthquake of 3.3 magnitudes was recorded in Kutch district of Gujarat in the early morning on Wednesday, said Institute of Seismological Research (ISR)

According to information shared on ISR website, The tremor occurred at 3.42 am, its epicentre is located 10 Km northeast of Bhachau city in the Kutch district at depth of 24.6 Kilometres.

District authorities confirmed no damage to property or life due to the quake.

Kutch district of Gujarat is located in a very high-risk seismic zone, Mild tremors are a regular Phenomenon.

According to the state Disaster Management Authority, Gujarat has witnessed major quake incidents in 1819, 1845, 1847, 1848, 1864, 1903, 1938, 1956, and 2001.
