Four people were killed and 15 others were injured in a collision with a pickup van, truck and two two -wheelers near Radhanpur in Patan district of Gujarat on Sunday morning. The accident took place at around 10 am near the village of Pipli on the National Highway. According to the police, there were about 15 passengers in the pickup van.
The deceased have been identified as Laxman Desai, Yash Unosan, Kanu Rawal and Naseeb Khan. Patan Superintendent of Police Vasant Nai said that during an attempt to overtake a lane construction work, the van directly collided with a truck. During this time, the van also clashed with two motorcycles, on which four people were aboard.
The police officer said the dead included two van passengers and two bike riders. The condition of two of the injured is critical, all have been admitted to the hospital.
Similarly, in another accident, three students died after overturning the car on the Rajkot-Bhavnagar highway in Gujarat on Friday night. These students are R.K. of Rajkot.
He used to study in the university and was going towards the day. The car overturned due to the driver’s control. There were a total of 11 people in the car, out of which eight suffered minor injuries. The help of a JCB machine was taken in relief work.
The slain students have been identified as obese Harsha, Afraj Sheikh and Naresh Kodavati. The three were 19 years old and they were from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. His bodies have been sent to Rajkot Civil Hospital for post -mortem.
