In a disturbing case from Khoraj, Gujarat, a woman has accused her husband of domestic violence, revealing the extreme cruelty inflicted under the guise of a popular game. Alisha (name changed), a visual effects artist, has reported that her husband, Abhay (name changed), subjected her to severe abuse during their marriage.
The ordeal began in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, where Alisha and Abhay first met in 2011. The couple, who fell in love during a social event, married in 2019 after dating for eight years. They initially settled in Kolkata before moving to Mumbai, where Alisha continued her career in film visual effects.
Despite a seemingly normal start, their relationship deteriorated when Abhay began hosting parties and playing the game ‘Truth or Dare.’ Under the pretense of this game, Abhay forced Alisha to perform inappropriate acts in front of his friends. When she refused, he responded with physical violence. This pattern of abuse continued for five years, with Alisha facing constant brutality whenever she attempted to speak out.
