Gujarat Election Results 2022 LIVE: Counting has begun in Gujarat Assembly elections at 8 am. As News24-Today’s Chanakya predicted, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is expected to make a government in Gujarat with overwhelming number of seats.

- BJP National President JP Nadda has congratulated CM Bhupendra Patel, State Chief of the party CR Patil and all Gujarat BJP workers after the massive victory of the party in the Gujarat Elections 2022.
- Alpesh Thakor, BJP candidate from Gandhinagar South seat, says, “BJP has developed Gujarat. We will serve the people of Gujarat. This is a bumper win. We had said earlier also that we will win more than 150 seats.
- BJP candidate from Jamnagar North, Rivaba Jadeja did a roadshow in Jamnagar along with her husband and cricketer Ravindra Jadeja. According to official Election Commission trends, she is leading by a margin of 50,456 votes over AAP candidate Karshanbhai Karmur.

- After the victory, BJP candidate Hardik Patel said that this is the victory of BJP’s work. We will focus on what needs to be done in the next 20 years. We had no competition with you. Viramgam has won Hardik Patel for further development of the constituency.

- BJP got its first victory in Gujarat. Kanhaiyalal Bachubhai Kishori defeated Congress candidate from Dahod assembly seat.

- BJP’s Rivaba Jadeja is leading in Gujarat’s Jamnagar North assembly constituency.
- On BJP getting a clear lead in Gujarat, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that there is pro-incumbency in the state. We are creating a new record in Gujarat because the people of the state have a lot of faith in PM Modi.
- Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Patel said that the Gujarat model is being accepted with the support of the people since 2000-2001. The model we are presenting to the country is being accepted. I congratulate the people of Gujarat and the BJP. This is the biggest record ever in the history of voting.
- BJP candidate Kantilal Amritiya is leading from Morbi with a total of 10,156 votes. He reportedly saved many lives during the Morbi bridge collapse in October.

- Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel is leading in his constituency Ghatlodiya by a total of 23,713 votes.
- From Jamnagar North seat, AAP candidate Karshanbhai Karmur is leading with a total of 4582 votes so far. Congress’s Bipendrasinh Chatursinh Jadeja is second and BJP’s Rivaba Jadeja is in third place.
- BJP candidate ahead after fifth round of counting in Godhra.
- Early trends show BJP leading in 129 seats, Congress in 22, Aam Aadmi Party in 10 and others in two.
- Bharatiya Janata Party workers were seen celebrating in Gandhinagar after the initial trends. According to the Election Commission, the BJP has crossed the majority mark of 95. BJP is leading in 99 seats in the state.
