Greater Noida SHOCKER: Young Couple Found Dead On Road, Police Suspects Suicide

The police found a handkerchief with blood stains, a bag, and a motorcycle from the scene.

Greater Noida: In a horrific incident, a man and a woman were reportedly found dead early Sunday morning on a road in Greater Noida. According to police, it was suspected that the two must-have allegedly died by suicide after consuming poison.

Additional Police Commissioner of Gautam Buddh Nagar, Shiv Hari Meena said in a statement, “Prima facie, it appears to be a suicide. The couple is suspected to have taken their lives after consuming poison.”

The Couple Wanted To Get Married, Family Disapproved

According to ADCP Ashok Kumar, the 26-year-old man was employed with a company in Noida and he rented a property in Greater Noida. Meanwhile, the 18-year-old woman was an intermediate pass out and had enrolled for the UP police constable exam, he added.

Additional CP Meena said, that the two wanted to get married to each other. Additionally, he stated that their family disapproved of their relationship. He said, “The man’s brother informed us that his brother sent him a text message last night stating he was going to end his life.”

Body Sent For Post-Mortem

The family of the couple was informed about the incident. The police found a handkerchief with blood stains, a bag, and a motorcycle from the scene. According to reports by the authorities, the victims left their houses around 10 PM on Saturday without informing their families. The bodies of the victims have been sent for post-mortem. Police informed that no injuries were found on the body.
