The disruption of water supply in the Alpha-1 and Alpha-2 sectors has resulted in major hardships for residents. Residents believe that after numerous complaints the authority provided insufficient water tanker services inadequate for supporting a population of 20000 residents. RWA President Sher Singh Bhati informed the media that the water supply has not been reestablished after over 48 hours of the pipeline leakage. Alpha-2 RWA President Subhash Bhati criticized the authority by saying their refusal to act properly has resulted in the escalating water situation. Pipeline leaks occur frequently in the sector but Arvada administration disregards this persistent issue according to him.

Repetitive water leaks throughout the area have turned roads into flooded areas that make pathways dangerous for foot traffic along with vehicular transportation. The workers stationed at the site face reports of mistreatment from local female residents who also claim the officials display carelessness in their duties. Residents have expressed their intention to organize a protest which will start if authorities do not address the water supply problem promptly.

Delayed Repairs Due To Extensive Leakage

The Greater Noida Authority started pipeline repair work yet the vast quantity of leakage hinders the completion of this task. Residents of the area have rejected this claim because they say they will start a stronger protest against the administration unless they quickly fix the problem.

Poorer Facilities Than Villages

Local residents have presented their demands to the authority CEO for immediate pipeline repairs and water supply restoration. The residents emphasized during their protest that Greater Noida’s promotion as a hi-tech city fails to match the deteriorating basic service quality which surpasses villages.
