Greater Noida: Massive Fire Breaks Out In Society Basement, Several Vehicles Damaged – What Was The Cause?

Those present at the scene managed to bring the fire under control. No injuries to individuals were reported.

Greater Noida: A massive fire broke out in the basement of Fusion Homes Society in Greater Noida West on Tuesday, causing severe damage to several parked vehicles. According to media reports, 2 to 3 motorcycles were completely burnt into ashes, meanwhile, the fire extensively damaged other cars too.

The tragic incident reportedly occurred when children from the society were setting off firecrackers, and some of them accidentally landed in the basement. Following the incident, the residents immediately alerted the fire department. Those present at the scene managed to bring the fire under control. No injuries to individuals were reported.

In a similar incident on October 11, a tragic fire broke out in the Noida Sector 27 killing one woman, and injuring three others. The fire reportedly originated from the electrical board but escalated due to firecrackers and a gas cylinder explosion. The authorities controlled the blaze, however, the entire floor of the house was completely damaged.
