Noida and Greater Noida have many developmental projects. Some of them are in the developing stage and some are in the execution stage. Jewar Airport or the Noida International Airport is the major project which is going to get operational in April 2025, as per media reports. Not just Noida Airport, but the film City is also there in line to get implemented in the city.
This film city will be developed near the Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida but will boost the state’s economy. The airport will be a major lift for the development of both the cities and the nearby areas. The city is also going to get another bigger gift in the form of a film city. For this new film city Filmmaker Boney Kapoor recently met the CEO of YEIDA.
For this, the Bhutani Infra-backed firm and Filmmaker Boney Kapoor have submitted the master plan for the making of the first phase of the Film City. They submitted this plan to the YEIDA on December 3, 2024.
About The Project
The film city will be located in Sector 21, near the Noida Airport. According to media reports the foundation stone for this project is likely to be laid in January 2025. The construction for the first phase will begin on 230 acres of land. Under this comes the industrial activities on 155 acres of land and the rest 75 acres of land is for commercial activities.
The construction of the film city will be done on 1000 acres of land. The upcoming Noida film city will be developed near the Noida International Airport and the Yamuna Expressway. According to media reports, the first phase of construction work will take around three years to completed.
Benefits From This Project
As per media reports, there will be arrangements made for the actors to stay in the city. The Noida International Airport will be a few kilometers away from the airport. Once this Film City becomes operational, this will enhance the connectivity and will be comfortable for the film stars who will be working here to catch the flight.
According to media reports, cinema-based parks will be developed for people who will be visiting here. Not only this but shopping centers will be opened here.
