The Greater Noida Authority Board approved a budget of Rs 5597 crore for fiscal year 2025-26. The budget was approved during a Noida-Greater Noida board meeting presided over by the Special Secretary and chairman of Noida-Greater Noida Authority, Manoj Singh.
The authority will remain focused on land acquisition, developmental projects and construction in the fiscal year. Besides this, the authority will also give priority to the infrastructure by developing the villages and sectors.
NG Ravi Kumar, CEO, of Greater Noida Authority, said industrial investors have shown interest in Greater Noida, and several inventors are demanding land to invest in projects. He said the authority is putting efforts to provide them with land. He said it is the reason that the authority is giving priority to land acquisition and infrastructure in 2025-26.
The CEO said the authority has preferred development and construction works and decided Rs 1937 crore budget for it. He said the authority will spend Rs 515 crore for the development of villages.
For the 2025-26 fiscal, the authority’s assessment is to spend Rs 292 crore. The money will be spent on a sports complex/stadium of Greater Noida West, the construction of synthetic tracks at Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex, the construction of large grounds in Greater Noida West and Greater Noida East, and construction of community centres in sectors. The authority has planned to spend Rs 1400 crore on land acquisition.
The authority has also planned to spend Rs 1937 crore for the construction of a footover bridge, underpass, structure park, electricity substation, new colleges, and hospital/health centres in Greater Noida West. It will benefit around 12 lakh people in the locality. The authority will also spend Rs 100 crore on greenery.
