Uttar Pradesh currently has multiple ongoing developmental projects. It is the fourth-largest state in terms of area. The state is home to various National Highways, expressways, and other routes
Uttar Pradesh is going to get another such expressway. The preparation is underway for making of UP’s biggest expressway.
The expressway will start from Gorakhpur. It will be connecting with the industrial district in Haryana. Once the work on the expressway gets completed, people can reach Haridwar from Gorakhpur in 8 hours. It will cross UP , by connecting with two district of the state.
The 22 districts will be benefited from the project. It will start from Gorakhpur and go till Panipat in Haryana. In between this it is cross Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich and Shamli. The total lenght of the expressway will be 750-km.
As per media reports, National Highway Authority of India has made a point about developing the expressway from Gorakhpur to Shamli. They had also prepared and sent the DPR. Reports stats that now the lenght of this has been increased and it will go till Panipat.
The Goraphpur-Panipat expressway is considered the biggest route of the state. In the present time, Ganga Expressway is the biggest one in Uttar Pradesh. the construction of The Ganga Expressway is in the final stage. And it will cover 550-km . The Gorakhpur-Panipat expressway will be around 200-km longer than this.
