Gorakhpur: In a surprising medical case from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, a 46-year-old man named Rajgir Mistri, who is a father of two, underwent surgery for a hernia, only for doctors to discover female reproductive organs inside his body.

Discovery During Surgery

Mistri had been experiencing severe stomach pain for several days and decided to get an ultrasound. The scan revealed that a piece of flesh in his lower abdomen was making contact with other internal organs, leading to the development of a hernia. Seeking further diagnosis, Mistri attended a free hernia check-up camp where Dr. Narendra Dev, a Professor at BRD Medical College, confirmed the presence of hernia through the ultrasound report.

Surprising Findings

During the surgery, under Dr. Dev’s supervision, doctors were astonished to find that the piece of flesh protruding from the abdominal membrane was actually an underdeveloped uterus, along with an adjacent ovary. Despite this unexpected discovery, Mistri, who exhibited no female-like characteristics, successfully recovered from the surgery and is now healthy.

Medical Explanation

Dr. Dev explained that this was a congenital deformity, a condition present from birth, but Mistri had lived his entire life without any noticeable female traits until this hernia operation revealed the anomaly.
