The work on the Gorakhpur Link Expressway is almost complete. It is the major developmental project in Uttar Pradesh. Around 98% of the total work of the expressway has been completed, as per media reports.
Multiple projects are going on in Uttar Pradesh, whether it is about the Noida International Airport, Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway or any other project. Gorakhpur Link Expressway is one of the key projects going on in the State. As per media reports, the Gorakhpur Link expressway will be inaugurated in January 2025.

About The Expressway
The length of the expressway is 91.35 km. The total cost of construction of the expressway is Rs 7,283 crore. This is going to bring a change in the state. The expressway will connect Gorakhpur and Azamgarh. It further links with the Purvanchal expressway. This enhances the connectivity. Apart from it it saves travel time and makes the journey smoother for commuters.
The expressway cuts the travel time to just 3.5 hours. It is an opportunity for the economic growth in the nearby region. After this expressway gets operational it will give a booth to economy of the nation and the state.
The expressway will majorly benefit the following places in the state, including, Azamgarh, Sant Kabir Nagar, Gorakhpur and Ambedkarnagar. Not only this but the project will boost tourism in Uttar Pradesh.
