The Yamuna Authority has approved the proposed Ganga Link Expressway. The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority has given no objection to the Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority for the construction of this project. The Uttar Pradesh government is constructing a 594 km route that will link Meerut to Prayagraj.
YEIDA demanded realignments to their development needs, thus the project modified its configuration. Industrial development projects will form an industrial corridor throughout the expressway region in Bulandshahr. UPEIDA plans to start land acquisition activities for this project at an upcoming date. YEIDA’s development plans were impacted by the original link expressway construction path, which also traversed through the airport MRO Center land. After the authorities made their request, the officials prepared a different plan for the alignment.
About Ganga Expressway Link Project
The new alignment of this project will begin from the 44 km point of the Ganga Expressway and will end at 24.8 Km of the Yamuna Expressway. The link expressway will connect Yamuna Expressway to Sector 21 (Film City) and Industrial Sector 28 before meeting the 120-meter road. This infrastructure will enhance travel access to Noida International Airport, along with a positive effect on residential and industrial zone residents and businesses in YEIDA. The length of the link expressway is 74.3 Km and the width of 120 meters. It will pass through Bulandshahr and Prayagraj. This development project will enhance connectivity in the region.
About The Industrial Corridor
About 7,111 hectares of land will be used to construct the industrial corridor along with the link expressway in Bulandshahr. This move is likely to generate employment in the region. After the land acquisition, plots will be provided for the industrial units.
