Uttar Pradesh is the fourth largest state area wise. It has many highways, expressways, and other routes connecting different places. Uttar Pradesh is getting new projects day by day. The Uttar Pradesh government has brought multiple projects like Noida International Airport.
Similarly, UP has got a new gift. Uttar Pradesh will get a 112 km green highway. The highway will be connecting different villages, including Kanpur. National Highway Authority has got approval from the Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari to prepare the DPR of the Highway.
Which All Places Will The Highway Connect?
The highway will connect 4 different cities of Uttar Pradesh, which include Kanpur Nagar, Fatehpur, Hamirpur and Mahoba. According to media reports around 30 thousand trucks pass through Kanpur Sagar Highway to Hamirpur on daily basis.
The development of the new highway will reduce the load on the older one. The 112 km highway will be made from Kanpur to Hamirpur. This will bring connectivity in 96 villages. The highway will cross through Patyora Danda, Devgaon, Gahtauli, Jalala, Pachkhura Buzurg, Tedha, Pandhri, Para, Raipura, Itra, Chandpurwa Buzurg, Ingohta, Artara, Parcha, Karhiya, Chhimoula, Madarpur, Akouna, Reevan, Ratwa, Khanna, Chichara, Banhiga, Barwai, Gauhari and Kabrai.
Benefits From The Project
After the construction of UP’s Green Highway, it will become easier to travel to Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana and Tamil Nadu. Vehicles passing through the Green Highway will be able to reach Kanpur, Lucknow, Ballia and Bahraich easily in less time.
