Good News! UP Govt Approves Vindhya Expressway—Here’s How It Will Transform the State!

The length of the expressway will be 320-Kilometers. This will connect multiple cities and hence boost the connectivity in the region.

The Uttar Pradesh Government has approved another expressway project. Uttar Pradesh, the fourth largest state in terms of area, is going to get another gift in the form of an expressway. Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved the 320-Km Vindhya Expressway.

About The Route

The length of the expressway will be 320-Kilometers. This will connect multiple cities and hence boost the connectivity in the region. This will connect Mirzapur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Sonbhadra, and Chandauli. This route will be linking with Ganga Expressway in Prayagraj.

Due to this, the connectivity with other states like Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will increase. According to media reports, the cost of the project will be around Rs 22,400 crore.

The route will enhance connectivity in the region. It will boost tourism and make the journey easy for the commuters using the route.

The Uttar Pradesh Government has also approved the Vindhya-Purvanchal Link Expressway. It will connect Chandauli on the Vindhya Expressway to Ghazipur.

About Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway

The most awaited Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway is likely to open for public after three months. The length of this route is 63-Km. Around 74 percent of the work on this route has been completed.
