Uttar Pradesh the fourth largest state area wise, that is having many highways and expressways connecting districts and cities. There are several developmental projects which will get implemented this year and there are some projects which will get implemented in the state in future.
The state is going to get a new gift in the form of expressway which will connect western portion of Uttar Pradesh to the Noida International Airport commanly knows as Jewar Airport. The express route will make people going to Hathras and Aligarh to Khandauli to reach in just an hour.

About The Expressway
The estimated cost of this project is around Rs 1,620 crore. The expressway will get linked to the Yamuna Expressway, making it easier for the commuters to reach Mathura, Vrindavan and the Noida Airport. This expressway will have three flyovers, 55 underpasses and a rail over bridge.
The route will connect Hathras and Aligarh. It will enhance the connectivity and make the journey comfortable for the commuters. The work for this route will begin soon. It will be a good news of residents of Western Uttar Pradesh as they will be easily able to reach the Noida International Airport and rest other areas.
According to media reports, the route will have four lanes later it may get expanded to 6 lane. The length of this route will be 65-Km.
Construction Of Expressway In Phases
According to media reports, the work is likely to get started from June 2025. The expressway will get constructed in phases. In the first phase it will cover 28-km and connect Aligarh to Asroi Hathras. The estimated cost for the construction of first phase will be Rs 800 crore.
In the second phase will connect Asroi Hathras to Khandauli. The length of the route will be 37-Km. The estimated cost for the construction of first phase will be around Rs 820 crore.
