The Central Road Research Institute (CRRI) has recommended this elevated road instead of a flyover, and the Greater Noida Authority has agreed to move forward with the plan.

Officials have expressed concerns that traffic will increase even more once the new airport opens. To tackle this problem, the Greater Noida Authority initially considered building a flyover but decided on the elevated road after CRRI’s feasibility study. This elevated road will run between the Itadan roundabout and ABES College, featuring four lanes for smoother traffic flow.
The authority has asked CRRI for more detailed studies on specific aspects of the project. Once this information is received, a Detailed Project Report (DPR) will be created, and then a proposal will be sent to the Ghaziabad Development Authority for further action. This project aims to significantly improve connectivity between Ghaziabad and Greater Noida West while alleviating the persistent traffic jams that commuters face daily.
